New York City taxi regulators approved new pay standards for app-based car services Tuesday that they say will raise drivers’ annual earnings by $10,000 a year, making it the first U.S. city to set such minimum pay standards.

Las Vegas council rule ‘a ban in disguise’ on short-term rentals

Proponents of tightening restrictions on short-term residential rentals in Las Vegas were given a narrow victory Wednesday after the City Council approved limiting new permits to owner-occupied homes, likely significantly reducing the number of legal home-sharing units in the future.

Bay Area native C.J. Anderson excited about chance with Raiders
